The fierce sun sucks the moisture from the landscape, baking the earth a dusty red, the withered grass as brittle as straw. The Tarangire River has shrivelled to a shadow of its wet season self. But it is choked with wildlife. Thirsty nomads have wandered hundreds of parched kilometres knowing that here, always, there is water.
Day 1: ARUSHA or NAIROBI /L.MANYARA
After pick up from Arusha or Nairobi drive to L. Manyara National Park famed for its abundant bird life , tree climbing Lions and large herds of Elephants for after noon game viewing. Dinner and overnight at the Camp.
Day 2: L.MANYARA /NGORONGORO
After breakfast proceed to Ngorongoro crater with your picnic lunches. Ngorongoro cater is one of the wonders of the world's so nicknamed by many visitors on their firs visit. The Ngorongoro conservation Area , 5184 sq. kilometers has three other small craters- Oldeani, Olmoti and Empakaai to the north and contains animal population of varied species. It was once a volcanic mountain which with tremendous force, blew and folded to form a Calderas. Dinner and overnight at the Camp.
Day 3: NGORONGORO / TARANGIRE
After breakfast, depart Ngorongoro for Tarangire arriving in time for Lunch. After noon game viewing in the Tarangire Park, one of the most beautiful parks in Tanzania in regard to animal concentration and abundance. Big herds of animals move from Ngorongoro , Manyara and surrounding game reserves to fetch water and food as Tarangire is always full of vegetation. Dinner and overnight at the Camp.
Day 4: TARANGIRE /ARUSHA or NAIROBI
After breakfast, drive to Arusha via Mto wa Mbu village for shopping of the Makonde carvings and other souvenirs. After lunch in Arusha drive to Nairobi via Namanga border town, arriving early evening.
